About

Oracle HCM Cloud Consultant & Technical Architect

Deep expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud — Fast Formulas, HDL Transformations, Benefits, Payroll, and Recruiting configurations. I share practical, real-world solutions for HCM Cloud consultants navigating complex implementations across the APAC region.

I'm an Oracle ACE Apprentice and a member of the All India Oracle Users Group (AIOUG). Over the last decade I've worked across most of the modules in Oracle HCM Cloud — Core HR, Absence Management, Time and Labor, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Recruiting, Redwood, HDL, and OTBI — with a heavy lean toward the techno-functional side. Most of my recent delivery has been multi-country APAC implementations: Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Hong Kong, Thailand.

Why this site exists

Oracle's documentation is excellent at telling you what a feature does, and mostly silent on the edges — the way IV_ACCRUAL actually behaves inside a matrix accrual, why ESS_LOG_WRITE blows up in 26A when used inside a Global Absence Carryover formula, what happens to PER_ASG_REL_ORIGINAL_DATE_OF_HIRE after a Global Transfer. These are the things I write down here.

What you'll find here

  • Production-ready Fast Formulas with named-employee worked examples
  • Debug logging idioms for every formula type that has them
  • Multi-country APAC patterns — leave policies, accrual matrices, TER/TCR
  • Redwood and HDL Transformation Formula notes
